A British man has been fined £1,000 for riding a dirtbike without a helmet.
The 33-year-old, from Bury, was given a warning and given two weeks’ community service after a video of him riding his dirt bike appeared on YouTube.
A group of other riders took part in the ride and filmed the incident, which happened in November.
The court heard that the driver of the dirt bike, who was not named, was fined £700 for failing to wear a helmet while riding.
The group of riders were fined for failing “to comply with traffic rules”, the court heard.
The defendant, who has not been named, also received a £500 fine.
